Dr. Strause is part of the Stateline Veterinary Service in Darien, Wisconsin, practicing there since 2000, and buying into the practice in 2004.  Stateline services farms from 15 to 1500 cows.  They offer traditional veterinary services plus provide consultation for production medicine, manage a dairy heifer replacement operation, and a 1,000 cow dairy.  Stateline runs a supply route truck to their clients and provides nutrition consultation.

Dr. Strause’s goal for his clients is to maintain a profitable dairy, while producing safe and healthy products for consumers.  His consultation includes herd checks as well as farm and producer meetings.  Emphasis is on protocols, training and to prevent residues in milk and dairy beef.

Congratulations Dr. Strause!  You are a shining example that the veterinary/client relationship is working in Wisconsin.
